Milano Arch Week is an international architecture festival dedicated to architecture, urban transformations and the future of cities, promoted by Comune di Milano, Politecnico di Milano, Triennale Milano in collaboration with Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli with the artistic direction of Stefano Boeri.
This edition will take place on 18th-20th September and involves some of the great protagonists of international architecture, focuses on space – urban and non-urban – investigating its potential and limits with respect to the epochal challenges of our present: from the health emergency to the climate crisis, from the increasingly pervasive presence of technology to the transformation of spaces and places to the growth of new forms of citizenship and
community. An edition that, giving great space to some women architects and the richness of their perspectives, aims to bring out experiences and projects from all over the world in a balanced way.
Among the guests of this edition: Izaskun Chinchilla (Spain), Odile Decq (France), Elizabeth Diller (USA), Lina Ghotmeh (Lebanon / France), Anupama Kundoo (India), Momoyo Kaijima (Japan), Benedetta Tagliabue (Spain), Martha Thorne (Spain), as well as Juan Navarro Baldeweg (Spain), Steven Holl (USA) and Arjun Appadurai (USA). These international guests will participate with live streaming lectures.
