The measurement and survey of the built heritage are now possible thanks to the use of increasingly refined and flexible techniques in their use.
What are the tools we have today? What are the possible applications and what are the expected results?
The digitization of monuments and all objects of cultural heritage requires deepening theoretical knowledge, mastery in the use of tools, data processing skills and control of results and, last but not least, setting the objectives to be achieved.
The activities carried out by the Politecnica scientific community go in the direction of researching the best practice of methods and methods and the standardization and simplification of procedures.
This is to ensure accuracy and reliability of the digital reconstructions produced.
