Jamming with Creative Scientists

A conversation about music with Scientists Francois Pachet, the Director of the Spotify Creator Technology Research Lab in Paris and Mark D’Inverno, a Professor of Computer Science at Goldsmiths University of London, internationally known for his research at the intersection of computer science and AI with creative activity, from music to social science.

They have a highly regarded jazz quintet that proposes original music which they compose and arrange together (http://www.markdinvernoquintet.com/).

On this special occasion they will be performing with Interplay, a quintet recently founded by Augusto Sarti of the Politecnico of Milano, which performs original music with notes of jazz and fusion.
Mark D’Inverno, Francois Pachet, Augusto Sarti and the Interplay Quintet will present original compositions as well as original reinterpretations of standards. With just one rehearsal the performance will be far from perfect, …but it will be fun.
