EXHIBITION
“Dire l’indicibile: la sovrapposizione quantistica”
From 5th to 12th April, from 14.00 to 17.00, researchers and students will guide through the exhibition “Dire l’indicibile: la sovrapposizione quantistica” (“Disclosing the untold: the quantum superposition”) at Politecnico di Milano (Piazza Leonardo da Vinci). You will thus discover the secrets of quantum mechanics, from its theoretical basis to its most unexpected applications in everyday life.

VISIT TO THE RESEARCH LABORATORIES
On Saturday 9/04, at the same time slot, you can also visit the research laboratories of Politecnico di Milano and CNR-IFN. You will thus enter the places where every day, thanks to some of the most advanced research tools in the world, people work to expand the understanding of Nature. You will hear the stories and anecdotes of the scientists and students who work firsthand in the world of scientific research.

SEMINARS
Educational seminars on quantum mechanics! Every day in the late afternoon we will tell the latest news on the incredible world of quantum mechanics. And on Saturday 9/04 a super-guest, Enrico Gazzola, physicist and popularizer, will warn us of the hoaxes that circulate on quantum mechanics. Here is the seminar program:

• Monday 11th April, 18.30 – Dr. Giacomo Corrielli (CNR-IFN), “I quanti di luce: faro della rivoluzione quantistica”

• Tuesday 12th April, 18.30 – Prof. Giacomo Ghiringhelli (Polimi), “La materia quantistica: dai superconduttori al grafene”

All seminars will be in Italian.

The exhibition does not require reservations. Our guides will form groups for the visit at the moment.
Reservations are required for visits to research laboratories and to attend the seminars. All activities are free.
