MANTOVARCHITETTURA 2021 – Mediterranean Cultural Landscape

The UNESCO Chair in Architectural preservation and Planning in World Heritage Cities of Mantova Campus -Chairholder Professor Federico Bucci-, invites the Chairs of the MUNCH Network– Mediterranean UNESCO Chairs, in MANTOVARCHITETTURA. Professor Nora Lombardini, of the Advisory board, will lead the discussion finalised to evaluate the impact of changing environments on landscapes’ management as territorial, urban and architectural problems.

Environments must be intended as the surroundings or the conditions in which everyone being operate and live.
Surroundings and conditions are key words on which it is possible to have a look on the territory and on all phenomena interesting the human being in its connection with the built and natural environment as expression of inclusion and exclusion in different perspectives and in the relationships with the use of the city and the understanding of the city’s cultural heritage.

The Chairholder, from the point of view of her/his UNESCO Chair, is invited to discuss upon the question that is, quoting the title: “From architectural, urban, and territorial perspectives, which is heritage management in changing environments?”.
