MANTOVARCHITETTURA 2021 – Carlana Mezzalira Pentimalli Michel Carlana

Michel Carlana (1980), Luca Mezzalira (1982), and Curzio Pentimalli (1982) graduated at Università Iuav di Venezia with which they currently collaborate, being involved in research and teaching. Alongside the academic activity, they engage with the architectural practice through participation in international competitions as well as local projects.

For Electa Mondadori they curated Forme di Strutture (2011), a monograph on the work of the Swiss engineering studio Conzett Bronzini Gartmann. For Park Books, they authored the editorial project Quirino De Giorgio: An Architect’s Legacy (2019), winning the DAM Architectural Book Award 2020.

In 2018, they have been Visiting Professor at Università Iuav di Venezia.

Since 2010, year in which the office was founded, they work across Veneto, South Tyrol and Switzerland.

In the occasion of MANTOVARCHITETTURA, the office Carlana Mezzalira Pentimalli will share its project process through the presentation of a recently built work amongst other experiences, where urbanism, architecture, engineering and art try to establish a lasting dialogue.
