Meeting with Nello Cristianini who presents his book “La Scorciatoia. Come le macchine sono diventate intelligenti senza pensare in modo umano”

Nello Cristianini is a professor of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Bath.
Graduated in Physics from the University of Trieste, he holds a Masters in Computational Intelligence from the University of London (Royal Holloway), and a PhD in Engineering Mathematics from the University of Bristol. Previously he was a professor at the University of Bristol, and at the University of California (Davis).

He has published several books and articles on machine learning theory, and recently the book “La Scorciatoia” published by Il Mulino.

Nello Cristianini will dialogue with Viola Schiaffonati, professor of Computer Ethics and Philosophical Issues of Computer Science at the Milan Polytechnic.
