Event Details

One of the distinctive formal keys of modern architecture has been the use of flat roofs. This characteristic is usually attributed to technical and aesthetic reasons. However, it can be verified that to these motifs must be added the strong interest of modernist artists and architects for the urban and plastic world that characterizes North Africa.  The presentation will try to show that this interest constitutes an equally important reason, hitherto neglected by the North American historiography of The modern architecture.
