As the European Union finalizes the AI Act, the conversation around Trustworthy AI is no longer theoretical â itâs urgent and practical. This event brings together leading voices from institutions and large enterprises to explore how European organizations are navigating this rapidly evolving landscape.
The workshop will focus on three key areas:
1) How major European organizations are approaching Trustworthy AI in light of the recently approved EU AI Act, including strategic priorities, compliance implications, and real-world implementation;
2) An overview of the evolving market offering in Trustworthy AI, enriched by early findings from a new analysis of European startups operating in this space;
3) A high-level exchange with distinguished guests to explore the topic from both a regulatory/strategic and a practical/operational perspective.
The program features a keynote speech by the Lucilla Sioli, Director of the EU AI Office, setting the stage with insights on policy and governance. It also includes contributions from leading corporates sharing firsthand experiences, challenges, and best practices for adopting trustworthy AI at scale.
Interactive moments and expert-led discussions will provide attendees with actionable perspectives and foster dialogue across sectors.

The workshop âFinance and the âRealâ Economyâ brings together scholars, professionals and policy-makers to celebrate the intellectual legacy of Francesco Brioschi and, through an interdisciplinary lens, to explore the relationship between finance and societyâs concrete development. Open to the public, the two-day event invites dialogue where academia meets business, institutions and market practitioners to chart new paths of shared value.
Three guiding threads will shape the debate:
- Governance, ownership and the institutions of capitalism:Â analysing corporate control structures and their implications for the real economy.
- Corporate finance:Â evolving financial strategies that steer the ongoing transition while balancing competitiveness with long-term vision.
- Entrepreneurial finance:Â from digital platforms to venture capital, new funding channels that support the growth and scalability of entrepreneurial initiatives.
Featuring high-profile keynotes, thematic sessions and networking moments, the workshop aims not only to honour Professor Brioschiâs memory but also to advance his vision of finance in the service of the ârealâ economy.
