Now in its sixth edition,
the Sustainable Development Festival is the largest Italian initiative to raise awareness and mobilize citizens, young generations, businesses, associations and institutions on the issues of economic, social and environmental sustainability, spread the culture of sustainability and carry out a cultural and political change that allows Italy to implement the United Nations 2030 Agenda and achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In 5 years, more than 3500 events have been created including conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, shows, sporting events, book presentations, documentaries and much more.
The Festival was also recognized by the United Nations as an innovative and unique initiative at an international level, ranking twice as a finalist in the SDGs Action Awards.
The initiative is promoted by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS)
with its over 300 members and with the support of Partners.
The 2022 edition of the Festival will be held from 4th to 20th October, in presence and online, throughout Italy and around the world, but the events can also take place in the “surroundings” of the Festival or in the previous week (27th September – 3rd October ) and in the following one (21st – 27th October).
