Dr Rafael Toledo

The Space Science and Engineering Lab (SSEL) team with the Technical University of Cartagena is currently responsible of the Infrared Instrument Control Unit of the Euclid ESA Mission. The talk will briefly explain the experience with HW, Boot SW and Driver SW of this unit. Additionally, the presentation will focus on one of the current research lines of the group, a task- and object-oriented multiprocessor operative system designed for European space missions.

Dr Rafael Toledo (39) is Associate Professor and PI of the Euclid mission with the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, Spain, and national contact point for the Euclid payload. He is PM of the electronic control unit of the infrared instrument, working as PO with IF with ESA/TASI, the Euclid Consortium and the Spanish Funding Agency.
