Infrastructures support the present economics and cultural exchanges at the global level and foster worldwide development. The session focuses on current engineering approaches to face the challenges related to the safe transportation of people and goods and to an effective energy production and distribution, combining integrity and sustainability and accounting for the present climate changes.
