Event Details

In the last ten years, the UNESCO Chair in Energy for Sustainable Development at the Politecnico di Milano has engaged in diverse multidisciplinary and transnational research and projects leveraging on collaborations with partners in developing countries, particularly in Africa. Research outcomes from the Chair have received international recognition and diffusion through collaborations with the International Energy Agency and the World Bank, among other multilateral and international organisations.

In view of taking a review and communicate the impact of the activities of the Chair in the last ten years, re-strategise and set the agenda for her next phase, the UNESCO Chair is organising a Colloquium with the theme “Science Diplomacy: EU-AU University Collaboration for Just and Sustainable Transition”. The colloquium seeks to explore the peculiarities, potentials and possibilities to expand the thematic, disciplinary and geographical scope by leveraging on partnerships and sharing know-how, facilities, innovative teaching and learning methods between EU-AU universities.
