The film starts out in a Seville flamenco bar where Rafa stands up at the local fiestas and tells a couple of anti-Basque jokes which offend Amaia, a Basque girl who is celebrating with some friends her bachelorette party, even if her engagement has just been called off. Amaia gets drunk and stays at Rafa’s house, but the next morning she goes back home and Rafa, smitten, decides to follow her.

At the 29^th Goya Awards it won the Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress and Best New Actor awards.
