Exhibition “Donne fuori dall’Ombra” – “Università svelate”

On the occasion of “Università svelate” – Giornata Nazionale delle università

What do these inventions have in common: astrolabe, fire escapes, JPEG, vacuum food sealer, circular saw, car heating, Apollo 11 trip, space frame, first Italian computer, search engines, microprocessors, wireless networks, mobile telephony, intelligence artificial and… much more? Of the faces of women.
The exhibition, “Women out of the shadows”, curated by Clara De Clario, aims to raise public awareness of the talents of women in the technological field and in STEM disciplines through the dissemination of still unknown female inventors, thus promoting the overcoming gender stereotypes and equal opportunities.
