Michele Silvers Award – Award Ceremony

The Award Ceremony of the Michele Silvers Award (10^th edition) will host the keynote lecture of Anupama Kundoo (Professor at Fachhochschule Potsdam) titled “Rethinking Urban Materiality in the Era of Climate Change”.

The ceremony will be introduced by the Dean of the School of Architecture Urbanism Construction Engineering Ilaria Valente, the promoter of the Award Silvia Hassan Silvers and the curators of this Award edition Lola Ottolini and Stamatina Kousidi.

Following the nomination of the winning and mentioned projects, the ceremony will comprise the preview screening of a celebratory video which marks the 10^th anniversary of the Award.

Anupama Kundoo (Anupama Kundoo architects Berlin/Pondicherry) is professor at Fachhochschule Potsdam. Her architecture practice, internationally recognised and award-winning, demonstrates a strong focus on material research and experimentation towards an architecture that has low environmental impact and is appropriate to the socio-economic context.
