Together and Free. Women of the Resistance

As 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the Italian Liberation, we invite you to the talk “Together and Free. The Women of the Resistance,” at the Historical Library of the Politecnico di Milano.
A multi-voiced conversation to trace the role, strength and experiences of a generation of women who, during World War II, contributed to changing the future with their choices and actions. A choral story, full of diverse individualities and histories, united in the struggle against Nazi-fascism.
Roberto Dulio, the Rector’s Delegate for the Archive, Library, and Museum System, will dialogue with Benedetta Tobagi, author of the book La Resistenza delle donne (2022) and Luisa Steiner, journalist and voice of the events experienced by her family during the years of the War.
The meeting will be held in the presence of the Rector, Donatella Sciuto, on May 5, at 6 p.m.
