Guided tour of the exhibition “2012/2022. Ten Years of Historical Archives”

The guided tour, led by the curators, invites you to discover the main figures of this multifaceted exhibition – photographers, designers, engineers, architects – and their precious contributions to the cultural and artistic life of the twentieth century. We will learn that archives contain fascinating treasures and witness the history of the objects, buildings, symbols that accompany us in our everyday life.

The exhibition is organized in panels, both monographic and thematic, and original pieces of many different kinds, such as scale models, magazines, photographs, diaries, objects, that describe the work, the innovative spirit, the activities of the protagonists of this path.

There will also be the possibility of further enriching the experience, by learning about the Albe and Lica Steiner Archive, learning about the life of these renowned graphic designers and the many and powerful materials that characterize this collection; and by visiting Pierluigi Ghianda’s Archive, where you will find some of the cabinet-maker’s most iconic works of art.
