Gender Pay Gap. Le radici storiche del divario salariale

Thursday, May 8, at 6:30 p.m., “Il quartiere competente. The open lecture dei vicini di casa” is back! Benedetta Crivelli, Professor of Economic History at the University of Parma, will present “Gender Pay Gap. Le radici storiche del divario salariale”.
During the meeting, we will explore the history of women’s work in the last century, addressing one of the themes that still most influences gender equality today. Through historical analysis, we will try to understand which factors have changed the relationship between work, family and economy during the twentieth century to understand what the lack of gender equality really tells us about today’s economy and society.
