The exhibition FUMO E ACCIAIO SU CARTONE E … OTHER SCULPTURES by the artist Eduard Habicher is part of the cycle of cultural events of the “Mechanical Culture” project started in February with the exhibition by Jonathan Guaitamacchi Bovisa from ’97 to ’17 and continued on 3 July with the theater show Taiko Soundscape: from the Ceres fields to the Ford workshop.
The artist Heduard Habicher is the author of large-scale sculptures in which steel sheets, some of which are painted with a flame red, interact with apparently contrasting materials. They float lightly around burned logs, or dynamically combine with elements of concrete or curved glass. In open challenge with the laws of physics Habicher’s sculptures seem to turn into signs drawn in the air, as if they were drawings or traces of crystallized gestures, able to transmit a strong dynamic charge and at the same time to bring us back, through the combination of materials particular, to the poetic dimension of nature.

The exhibition is free, open from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm
