Connect to the Machine: nuove relazioni con mondi artificiali – 12 novembre

On the occasion of the Milano Digital Week, AIRLab offers citizens the opportunity to participate in first person or as a spectator in two demonstrations relating to virtual reality and robotics applications.

Come and discover the relationships of the new metaverses with two experiences in close contact with new technologies.
In the first room you will find a robot, a creature, which is learning to interact with humans. You will be free to interact with it, and you can even help it learn to relate to humans.
In the second room you will be at the center of a digital world: elastic laces and a virtual reality viewer to immerse yourself in an abstract environment, a game that will test your ability to listen to your body and your gestures.
Entering to learn about innovation news, you may find a new contact with yourself.

The experiences are part of a research work developed at the Politecnico di Milano, in the AI ​​and Robotics Lab (AIRLab), active at the Milan Polytechnic since 1973 in the production of Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Robotics systems.

Demonstrations will be held from 10:00 to 18:00.
The visiting time for each room is approximately 15 minutes, for a total of 30 minutes for both experiences.

To participate, registration is required in one of the available time slots: 10.00 – 10.30 – 11.00 – 11.30 – 12.00 – 12.30 – 13.00 – 14.00 – 14.30 – 15.00 – 15.30 – 16.00 – 16.30 – 17.00 – 17:30.

With the same e-mail address it is possible to book only 1 seat per time slot.
