First work/last work – arroyo + pemjean architects

This lecture explains the first building and the last building we built.
The first work was the Town Hall in a small village in the Community of Madrid.  We were two young architects, just 28 years old. The first work marks the way to follow.
The last work is the headquarters of the College of Architects in Salamanca. A recent building, built 14 years later. The last work is always the summary of all accumulated knowledge.
Both buildings express the interest in doing our best work and the pursuit of the coherence between that what one teaches and what one projects.
