PolimiOpenLabs: LaborA – Ambienti digitali reali ed immaginati in realtà olografiche ed immersive – 11 novembre 2022

On the occasion of the Milano Digital Week, LaborA opens its doors to citizenship.

LaborA is the University laboratory that deals with immersive, VR and AR and holographic realities.

At the holographic table, natural and man-made environments will be presented that can be used by users through glasses in the dedicated room; the scenes range from mountain environments to parts of the city with examples of Cultural Heritage monuments or even models of new creations for the study of sustainable buildings. These include the “Amalpi 18, discovering the territory of yesterday and today”.

Spherical images will be projected in the virtual theater, such as the “Spherical photographic projections of Camillo Boito’s buildings” or the villages belonging to “The humanitarian architectures of Yasmeen Lari” as well as 360 ° videos. Small virtual tours will also be available to be viewed in immersive mode. The projects will be available on different days always accompanied by moments of explanation.

The laboratory will be open from 10:00 to 18:00.

The proposed visit will last about 1 hour.
