MTDM 2018 – 11th Conference on Mechanics of Time-Dependent Materials

Politecnico di Milano is happy to welcome the 11th International Conference on Mechanics of Time-Dependent Materials (MTDM 2018).

The conference will be held from September 4th to September 7th, following the last conferences in Monterey (USA) in 2008, in Portoroz (Slovenia) in 2010, in Kanazawa (Japan) in 2012, in Montreal (Canada) in 2014, and in Paris (France) in 2016

Aim and Scope

The purpose of this conference is to foster the exchange of knowledge between researchers approaching the topic of time-dependent behaviour of materials from different viewpoints so as to generate solutions for open issues and new ideas.

The conference will deal with materials like polymers, composites, metals, soft matter, living tissues, soils, wood, asphalt, concrete, etc., in the framework of disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering and Science,  Design.
