The speech by architects Carlo Blasi and Susanna Carfagni illustrates the complex design process and the intervention methodologies for the safety and subsequent architectural recovery and structural consolidation of the church of Santa Maria Maggiore in Mirandola.
The city’s cathedral, which has always been a fundamental reference point for the entire community, was the symbol of the dramatic wounds inflicted on the municipality of Mirandola by the serious seismic event of 2012, just as it is today the emblem of a reconstruction process that, despite many difficulties, is continuing.
Curated by Marco Borsotti and Christian Campanella.
The event will be held in Italian.
The event will be published on the Mantova Campus Youtube channel.
