On September 27th and 28th, 2024, MEETmeTonight returns to Milan for the European Researchers’ Night.

This event, dedicated to promoting science to the public, is organized by five Milan universities—Università degli Studi Milano-Bicocca, Università degli Studi di Milano, Università Bocconi, Politecnico di Milano, and Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele—along with the science communication agency formicablu. MEETmeTonight offers two days of free activities open to everyone, including booths, talks, workshops, performances, and concerts.

MEETmeTonight is part of the MEET project, funded by the European Union, which also includes the MEETme@School program for schools in Lombardy. The goal is to actively involve students in Citizen Science projects.

All activities focus on the five European Missions of the Horizon Europe program: climate change adaptation, fighting cancer, protecting oceans and waters, creating climate-neutral cities, and improving soil health.

On September 27th, MEETmeTonight 2024 will take place at BIM Park (Viale dell’Innovazione, 3) from 8:00 PM to midnight, featuring theater, stand-up comedy, and science matches, hosted by comedian and science communicator Filippo Pelusi, known as Fill Pill.
On Saturday, September 28th, the event moves to the Science Park near Bicocca Stadium (Viale Sarca), from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with a wide range of discussions led by researchers from Milan’s universities. Topics will include urban sustainability, cutting-edge medicine, the circular economy, and the future of neuroscience.
