Event Details

The exhibition MODÆ architecture, photography, graphics, design, sustainability, aims to describe, also to non-specialist visitors, cultures and aspects of fashion that can be found in the Archival Fonds and Library Collections of the Politecnico di Milano, or that are connected to it through the personal and design history of the authors involved. The five themes are thus found throughout the exhibition panels and tables, dedicated to the figures of Gianfranco Ferré and Renzo Piano; but also Marina Spadafora, promoter of ethical and sustainable fashion; Andrea Pfister, fashion designer; and Elsa Haertter, fashion photographer.
Fashion emerges as a transversal language. Through archive materials, designs, images and original objects, the visitor is invited to discover how it is not just clothing or an accessory, but cultural vision, design research and social identity. A reflection on the power that fashion has to narrate the world, change perspectives and create relationships between disciplines.

The exhibition MODÆ architecture, photography, graphics, design, sustainability will be open until September 15, 2025 at the Historical Archives of the Politecnico di Milano, Bovisa Candiani Campus, with the following hours:
