MANTOVARCHITETTURA 2021 – Between sky and earth. The Rotonda of San Lorenzo – Rosanna Golinelli Berto

The event introduced by Dr. Rosanna Golinelli Berto will highlight the role of the architecture of the Rotonda di San Lorenzo in the context of the Civitas of Mantova. Historical evolution and symbolic characters of the monumental complex up to its enhancement in our time, by the Association for Dominican Monuments, will be the aspects analysed in the first part of the event.

In the second part, Prof. Luigi Fregonese, Director of the MantovaLAB of the Polo di Mantova will describe the process of knowledge of the monument through the innovative methodologies of aerial UAS and terrestrial laser scanning, conducted by the students of the Polo di Mantova.

The event will be held in Italian.
