Gender-based violence: how to become an active bystander

On the occasion of November 25th, the Politecnico di Milano is launching the online training (MOOC) “Gender-based violence: how to become an active bystander”, an awareness-raising and action project against gender-based violence with a particular focus on men as allies. The entire Politecnic community will be able to act as active bystanders in contexts where it is possible to witness violence or harassment.

The event will start with a performance by the Student Association “Teatro delle biglie” and a roundtable discussion on the topic of gender-based violence with Mara Tanelli, the Rector’s Delegate for Diversity and Inclusion, and representatives of the Student Associations. The discussion will be moderated by Stefania Prandi, a journalist and writer.

The event will be in Italian.
