Due to the 18/10 DPCM, the conference will be held exclusively online with the program attached. We will soon publish the link to attend the event.

The international conference Faces of Geometry II edition has two equally important aims.

First of all, it wants to promote interdisciplinary discussions and connections between theoretical researches on geometric structures and their applications in architecture, arts, design, teaching, engineering, mathematics. We believe that these interrelated fields of study can mutually enrich each other and renew the common interest in these topics through the pooling of ideas. Researchers, teachers and students are invited to ideas, to discuss their scientific views on teaching these disciplines in order to raise the quality of geometry and graphics.

Second, but not least: we are sure that the scientific community and mathematics in particular needs the contribution of women. Women have contributed significantly to science all the time. Historians interested in gender issues in science have demonstrated the involvement of women, the difficulties they faced and the strategies they used to get their work accepted by leading scientific journals. The second World Day of Women in Mathematics is celebrated on 12 May 2020, dedicated to Maryam Mirzakhani, the first woman to win the Fields Medal.

Due to the Coronavirus, the conference will be held on 27/28 October 2020 and will be held online. Official languages of the Conference: Italian, English.

Due to the limited number of places, registration is free but mandatory (top on the right).
