Walicow Project. Forma e trasformazione. Un memoriale del presente tra le rovine dell’ex ghetto di Varsavia

Waliców Project is an international workshop focusing on the protection of a fragment of the Warsaw Ghetto, that -despite survived to Nazi destruction- is now in danger because of the city’s rapid transformation processes.

The exhibition of the projects of 80 Italian and Polish students of the final year of the Master’s Degree Course, organized by Guido Morpurgo, Annalisa de Curtis and Andrea Vercellotti together with the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology, is fitted out in the construction yard of the Memorial of the Shoah in Milan.

The initiative starts up the agreement between the School AUIC and the Memorial of the Shoah of Milan Foundation Onlus, based on the Ministry of Education guidelines about the teaching of Holocaust in the italian universities.
