Spazio Pasolini

The International Seminar “Spazio Pasolini” focuses on the connection between the figure of Pier Paolo Pasolini and Space – in the broadest sense of the term – where Pasolini’s art (poetry, novels, theatrical and cinematographic scripts, films, critical and journalistic writings) is always evidence of a strong correlation with the territorial-landscape context and its architecture. Fifty years after his death, these aspects, with still little explored potential, require a new transdisciplinary approach to be carried out to find both new lines of research on Pasolini’s studies and ideas to update them in design action. Organised by the Politecnico di Milano and Sorbonne Université in collaboration with the Centro Studi Pier Paolo Pasolini di Casarsa, “Spazio Pasolini” intends to question the work of the Friulian writer to find clues to answers through an interdisciplinary panel of scholars, researchers and professionals ranging between the two macro areas of literary studies and architectural theories and practices, in the certainty that a dialectical moment between disciplines is the bearer of original perspectives.
